Talib was welcomed with hugs by his teammates.For the next 2010 Bucs loopback, were to Talib, Aqib. Lets just start this post out with a truism; Aqib Talib isn’t going anywhere, and everyone should just get used to that.
Local reporters were actually surprised at Talib’s appearance; his teammates were not. They knew he would be here, and most of them were quoted as saying they have the trouble corner’s back 100%.
Talib is in trouble with a real court, but we are the court of public opinion. Still, can we take a simplistic look at what Talib did this time. First of all, forget what happened last time, were tailing about what Talib did this time, he came to the defense of his sister, his family.
His sister’s Boyfriend is no angel, in fact by all accounts he is a dirtbag. Something happened so bad, Talib and his sisters Mama shot a gun at him. You know you did something bad if your girlfriends mama shoots a gun at you! Well brothers aren’t to far from the vest.
To be sure, Talib made a mistake; you are not above the law, you have to let them handle this, But the bottom line is Talib went to the defense of his sister, along side of his mother; against a dirtbag. Many will say if it weren’t for Talib’s football talent he would be thrown away by now. Well if it weren’t for Talib’s past, this would easily be a forgivable transgression. Were being hypocrites if we say one situation is ok to judge but not the other. The Bucs have his back, which makes me believe Talib will BE back, where he belongs; with his family.
