Yup, that’s “Bald Vinny” Milano, the de facto leader of the New York Yankees “Bleacher Creatures” modeling an Alex Rodriguez-inspired t-shirt that is bound to garner some attention.
“I made the shirt because I like to support guys who need support,” the Yankees superfan said. “Anyone can cheer for the idol. I like to root for the guy who could actually use someone in their corner.”
And the response to the shirt?
“I’ve gotten tons of great response in terms of sales…and tons of negative responses in terms of shitty comments and hate mail,” Milano added. “I’m amused at Yankees fans that say he ‘tarnishes the great Yankee image’. I like to remind those people that the man that signed A-Rod to that contract was a convicted felon. That usually shuts people right up.”
