Eric
- Negation of Adrian Clayborne – According to the official stats, he had 2 solos, 5 assists, one pass break up, and one hurry. I’d say that Mr. Adams did a pretty good job, especially on the pancake that was incorrectly called a “hold”.
- Another 100 yards for Boom Herron – So close, although the Buckeyes did manage 164 yards on the day against a solid Iowa defense.
- A couple passes to Philly Brown – Well, the Buckeyes threw to him, but he should have remembered that you can get assaulted in places other than Philadelphia.
- As many “Rick Sixes” as Stanzi is willing to throw us – I still believe the bogus call on Hines should have been a TaINT if he was watching the ball rather than looking to be on Sportscenter. Overall, Ricky played a solid game- he’s quite a QB.
Mali
- Focus – It didn’t seem that the Buckeyes were flat, but it did seem that they didn’t quite have the fire they usually do at home. Maybe the stupid pink locker rooms are working?
- Run. The. Ball. – Boy, was I wrong about this. Boom was amazing as always, but the Buckeyes came out with an aggressive passing game that worked up until the part where the ball hit the WR’s hands. Too many drops to be considered a “great” game.
- Stanzi on his Can-zi – Ended the last two drives with pressure from the Sandman and Cam. Well done!
- Pryor On The Move – 4th and 10. ‘Nuff said.
- No False Starts – JB, brother, you’re going to make what little hair I have left turn gray.
- Vandenberg’s Mom – Rats.
Joe
- For us to get off the plane, and be there at kickoff.– Check.
- A win.– Check.
- Stanzi on his backside early and often. Well, no… but when it mattered.
Jay
- A quiet Iowa stadium – I wasn’t there, and couldn’t tell… I like the close sidelines if I’m a home fan, but it did seem to make things a bit more dangerous than it should be (although not quite Wrigley bad).
- A running game that opens it up – Kinda. The Buckeyes were looking to pass as well as run, and it seems like in that order.
- Solid special teams – Win. Barclay should never visit Iowa unless he’s under heavy guard.
Jim
- Early momentum – Nope, it took until halftime again.
- Suffocating defense – I was impressed with the Buckeye D, especially when it counted.
- Zach Boren smashing people – I think this is 50/50- he got blown up once, and also mauled people.
- Pryor confident and decisive in the pocket – I said this in my comment earlier, I feel as if TP2 can be a bit hesitant at times. Of course, his reliable hands people weren’t helping assuage those trepidations at all…
- Just win – Done and done.
