Are You Not Entertained? Maryland

The Buckeyes rolling now.

And it’s a good thing since there is a better than good chance they won’t win the B1G. At this point, its all about points. Style points. Scoreboard points. Any and all of them.

OSU looked great and we saw a lot of backups get some minutes.

But are we happy with everything we watched?

Scott

A convincing win: I wanted 70. We came close.

A shutout: Almost. One sloppy defensive drive was it.

Health: No major injuries.

Let them play: The backups got some quality minutes. That’s important.

WVa

Rest the wounded: Urban Meyer got what he needed from the starters and cleared the bench. If Thad Matta could do that now and again, it would be nice.

Keep the momentum: OSU never lost the Big Mo. Just a couple of empty drives with the regulars. Not bad. They should have tons of confidence moving into games against that state up north.

Silver Bullet statement (again): It was pretty ugly if you’re a Maryland fan. Defense was solid. Other than the field goal drive, Maryland didn’t get much of anything.

Mike M.

Tempo: Offense like we thought it would and should. We saw the reverse, read option, deep balls, stretch plays and swing passes. A Buckeye Buffet.

Build on last weekend: Lots to be happy about. Lots went right last week and this week. You can tell the Buckeyes are firing now.

Beat Michigan: Not only did Iowa, but OSU beat Maryland worse than TTUN did, I believe. That’s good, right?

Brad

Continued offensive improvement: This offense has done a 180 the last few weeks. Not sure what changed, but I don’t care. Keep it going.

Ryan

Keep the foot on the gas pedal: Yup. OSU bolted to a quick lead and never let up. Probably could have scored 100 if the starters stayed in.

More playing time for the younger players: By the fourth quarter even Meyer didn’t know half the guys in the game. LOL.
