Jeff (no, I’m not doing all the Bull Durham quotes)
- Special Teams Tackling- No concerns there… the Makers even gave the ball back- great gift, if you ask me.
- Have Fun– Indeed, although it was a focused fun and not a “fake” fun like the “jump around” fiasco.
- Play Like A Team– We were able to see what happens when a bunch of fingers become a fist. And no, that wasn’t meant to sound sketchy.
- Take Care of the Basics- Woody would be happy… running the ball at Homecoming.
Mali
- A win– Yessir!!
- No hope– I think a shutout handled this nicely. That, and the “Get used to it!” quote from the student section… nicely played.
- Defensive excellence- Again, a shut out makes me look like less of an idiot than usual. Interceptions will do that for us to.
- Solid offensive line play– Kerrigan is a beast, but only had one sack and seven tackles. Win.
- Running game- I’d ask the Purdue defense if Ohio State was successful in this, but they’re still peeling Boom’s cleats out of their chests.
- No injuries- Sigh. Get well soon, Pittsburgh.
- No false starts- Double sigh.
Jay
- Controlling the offensive line- 184 rushing yards, only two sacks, and didn’t have a tackle in the backfield until late in the second half. Well done.
- Not killing Dane Sanzenbacher- He’s still standing. Hooray!!
- Tight special team- Recovered a fumble on a punt, no scores or blocked kicks. that’s tight, yo.
Joe
- Bounce Back- Boing.
- Young Guys Stepping Up- We saw great things from Philly… it’s a start.
- Defense playing on the other side of the line- Purdue’s quarterbacks were more hurried than a contestant on Biggest Loser after sneaking into Ryan’s Family Buffet.

A win – And there you go. Ohio State is undefeated this year when a member of tBBC’s staff is in the pressbox, FWIW.
-
Michigan State loss – It was oh so close… Ah, Nerdwestern.
- The return of the potent OSU offense – I think it’s safe to say this was a “win”
