There will be a ton of rushing yards in this one. Air Force is second in the Nation averaging 328.75 ypg and Rice is 30th averaging 201.25. Air Force will be looking to snap out of a funk as they've lost three of their last four including a loss to Army by 20 points. When you look at the Falcons resume, they really only have one good win (Nevada 48-31).
Rice is a team that I didn't think would make a bowl game. They started the season just 2-6 and lost their first four conference games. When the schedule turned in their favor they ran the table winning the last four including a 22 point win over bowl bound SMU.
These teams seem to be heading in different directions with Rice playing their best football at the end of the year and the Falcons playing some of their worst. On paper this one looks pretty even so I will take the hot hand.
