The Atlanta Falcons signed Roddy White to a four-year contract extension worth up to $30 million Thursday, with White set to get $18 million over the next two years.
It is a good deal for the team and for White, as he showed last year that he has a lot left in the tank at a relatively healthy 32 years old.
For Atlanta, it ties one of their big receivers up for the rest of his excellent career. White will continue to be the veteran mentor on offense for Julio Jones and Matt Ryan.
With the signing, White and Jones should continue to be one of football’s best receiving duos.
