Add another defensive back to the Tigers recruiting class of 2012. Hotly recruited T.J. Davis from Godby High in Tallahassee, Florida informed Auburn coaches of his decision this afternoon.
Tallahassee.com spoke with Davis’ high school coach Ronnie Cotrell. “He had offers from all over the country, but he chose Auburn,” Cottrell said.
Davis, 6-0 180, rates a four star prospect by ESPN, chose the Tigers over 20 others, including Alabama, Florida State, Florida, Notre Dame and Ohio State.
Davis becomes the third defensive back in the ’12 class, joining Joshua Holsey and Jonathan Jones.
