Auld Lang Syne

I stumbled upon some of the boys New Years resolutions so I thought I should share them with all of my dear readers. I also added mine onto the bottom of the list because I know there are things I need to work on as a fan..

Dave Tippet: I resolve to work on the power play, as it has been pretty unacceptable lately. I will keep the Czech unit together because they are gold.
-Woohoo! The Czech unit is fabulous. Except Tips, can we replace Jovo with anyone else please?

Shane Doan: This new year I plan to finally get that elusive hat trick.
-Daoner, I know you have a three goal game in you! Just keep up the hard work and it will come.

Jovo: Really? Do I have to do this Tips? I am perfect, nothing to improve here…
-Jeesh Jovo… a little full of yourself? I say you work on being a TEAM PLAYER. I know it will be hard but I think you can do it!

Keith Yandle: I want to finish that forward try-out video and make it happen!
-Awwww Yandle, you would be a great forward! Keep up the good work son.

Scottie: I will get Jeff Carter to Phoenix, by any means necessary!
-Uppy…if you got us Jeff I would be so excited. I am a little worried about the “by any means necessary” but I trust you. kind of.

Robert Lang: I resolve to stay off the IR all season. I have done really well so far. I can avoid a hit but still get the puck and score.
-Awwww Lang, we don’t want to see you injured either! You are a great contributor and I would miss you if you were hurt.

Brzy: I want chili dogs for the rest of the season!
-You dream big Bryz and I love it. Keep up the good work man; you are winning me over (and I can be quite stubborn at times).

And here are my own three personal hockey resolutions:

-To find as many reasons has humanly possible to stand during the game (in high school we stood the whole game).

-To not punch the man that sits behind us, no mater how much he annoys me. First he tries to tell me about the game (just because I’m a girl doesn’t mean I don’t know anything) then he tries to talk to us (and doesn’t even know what he is talking about). Whatever. I need to remember, he is the idiot and I should just let it go.

-To try and love all the players on my team, including Jovo and LaBarbera. The Jovo part is going to be especially hard for me..
