1- Brock Osweiler, Broncos (last week: 5)
In just his second career start, Brock Osweiler went up against the best QB of this generation, and won. Brock wasn’t spectacular, but he was efficient, and hung in tough against a New England defense that knocked around the new Broncos starting QB for the rest of the year.
After trailing for almost 58 minutes in regulation, Osweiler tossed a 4-yard touchdown pass to Andre Caldwell, putting Denver up 24-21 with 1:09 left to play. In overtime, he completed his only attempt- a 7 yard completion setting up a 3rd and 1 from the Pats 48 yard line. On the very next play, C.J. Anderson took a sweep the rest of the way, as the Broncos knocked off the undefeated Patriots in OT, 30-24.
Brock is the 1 behind 1 in 10-1 for the New England Patriots, and for that, he takes the top spot in the Otto’s for Week 12.
