5- Russell Wilson, Seahawks (last week: NR)

Seattle won on Monday night over the Lions thanks in part, to a forced fumble and a blown call by the refs in the end zone (on the same play) , but let’s also give credit where credit is due- if not for Russell Wilson’s athletic ability in escaping sacks and running with the ball, the Seahawks offense may not have scored a single touchdown.

In an ugly game, Wilson kept the Seahawks offense alive, leading them to the only offensive touchdown for either squad in a 13-10 win.

4- Aaron Rodgers, Packers (last week: 1)

Aaron Rodgers wasn’t pretty on Sunday, in fact, he was visibly frustrated by the 49ers defense, but here’s the bottom line, Green Bay won and is now 4-0 on the season. Rodgers tossed his 11th touchdown on the season and was efficient in the 17-3 win over San Francisco.

3- Joe Flacco, Ravens (last week: NR)

One week after dropping a heart breaker to Cincy, Flacco led the Ravens to a 4th quarter rally and an OT walk off win, as Baltimore picked up their first win on the season. Flacco stood tough in the face of a consistent pass rush and blitzing defensive backs, and played most of the game without his No. 1 wide receiver, Steve Smith.

2- Nick Foles, Rams (last week: NR)

Against a defense that intercepted Colin Kaepernick four times, returning two for touchdowns the week before, Foles instead, picked Arizona apart to the tune of three touchdown passes as the Rams knocked off the Cardinals 24-22. Foles has struggled mightily outside the division this season, however against the NFC West, he’s undefeated so far, tossing four touchdowns and zero interceptions and his running the Rams record to a perfect 2-0 in the division.

1- Eli Manning, NY Giants (last week: NR)

Some of Eli Manning’s best work is on the road, in tough environments and against tough defenses. Against Buffalo, Manning threw for three scores and a 2-point conversion as the Giants knocked off the upstart Bills 24-10. It was the second straight win for the G-men, running their record to .500 on the season, and putting them into a three way tie for the division lead.

Not bad for a team that was deep in turmoil after an 0-2 start.

Eli takes the top spot in Week 4 for the Automatic Otto Award.
