In other injury news, WWE star Fandango has been sidelined from in-ring competition since last July after suffering a torn labrum which required surgery.
According to a new report from PostWrestling, Fandango is nearing his return to the ring following the injury and subsequent surgery, and it remains unknown if WWE has plans to re-team him with his former Breezango partner Tyler Breeze.
[lawrence-related id=842289]Since Fandango has been off WWE TV, Tyler Breeze has been mostly unused on the main roster, but has made somewhat of a splash in his old stomping grounds of NXT, having competed at several live events since last July, and even had a televised North American Title match against Ricochet, which he lost.
With regards to other WWE injuries, we reported earlier this week that WWE currently has plans to bring Kevin Owens back to TV after WrestleMania 35, despite KO likely being cleared to return to the ring before the big PPV in April.
Former NXT star Lars Sullivan remains under contract with WWE despite him missing last week’s TV tapings, and there is no word as to when Sullivan is expected to return to the company. Sullivan was previously scheduled for a big push on the main roster following his debut, but his debut was delayed when he suffered an apparent anxiety attack a couple weeks ago forcing him off the road with WWE.
