Man, if it weren't for bad luck Vonte Jackson wouldn't have any at all….

This is heartbreaking news for Jackson, who's already torn his ACL in his right knee twice. BadgerNation.com is reporting that the injury is serious in nature and he won't be playing for the Badgers this season. Rumor has it that the injury is indeed a 3rd ACL tear for the Badger back, but we have been unable to officially confirm that information at the time of publishing.
It gives us pause to wonder if we'll ever see Jackson play a game in a Badger uniform. It also makes the rumors of UW's interest in a player like former Iowa running back Greg Garmon make sense, you know… since the Badgers moved Jeff Lewis to the secondary because of massive depth issues there. Look for Corey Clement to really be on the fast track to getting carries this season as well as he's now 3rd in line at RB.
Jackson was a top 30 running back by all recruiting services coming out of Kenosha Bradford high school, where he followed in the footsteps of Melvin Gordon.
