Brown is a skilled and athletic post who oozes potential. Great get for Coach Ryan and the Badgers.

Vitto Brown is ranked a 3 star by Rivals.com and Scout.com, and a 2 star by ESPN. The lanky, 6-foot-7 225 pound power forward is a defensive minded player, and is a great rebounder and shot blocker. His post play has been quite improved over the last year, which led to offers from Nebraska, Wisconsin, Iowa State, Kansas State, and Minnesota.
Unlike Bo Ryan's usual mold of big men, Vitto Brown is a long, athletic power forward. While Brown is still a raw talent, he still has a lot of room for growth which adds depth to Bo Ryan's previously thin big man lineup of the future.
As I said a while ago on the Badger Power Hour with Andy, Vitto Brown is a very interesting prospect for Wisconsin. Brown's game is unlike anything we've seen from the Badgers in the Bo Ryan era. He does have a very big upside which is why this is a good pick up for Bo Ryan and the Badgers.
Vitto Brown now joins guards Bronson Koenig, Jordan Hill, and Riley Dearring in Bo Ryan's 2013 class. For a more in depth look at the 2013 class, take a look at our Class of 2013 Roundup from a few weeks ago.
