Badgers hoops to be part of ESPN’s College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon

If you're a college basketball junkie there may not be a better day outside of the 1st Thursday of the NCAA tournament than the now annual ESPN College Hoops Tip-Off Marathon. It's the annual challenge for college basketball junkies to make it the entire 24 hours straight through. In 2013 the event will be in it's 6th year of existence and for the 2nd time ever the Wisconsin Badgers will be part of the event as they host the Florida Gators at 8:30pm Central Time on Nov. 12th.

The Badgers will face off with the Gators, who are ranked No. 7 in the ESPN Preseason Top 25, for the 2nd time in as many years and will be looking to avenge a brutal 74-56 loss at the O-Zone last season.

Wisconsin previously played as part of this event back in the 2010 season against North Dakota. The Badgers won the game 85-53, however the game was only viewable on ESPN3.com back then. So, that makes this game UW's first appearance on television in this event.

Michigan State is the only other Big Ten team participating in the event this season as they take part in the Champions Classic, playing against Kentucky.

Here is the full schedule for the event:
