On Wednesday it was announced that Wisconsin signee Jack Dougherty will represent Team USA at the U-18 World Championships.

Dougherty is a 6’0″, 185-pound defenseman who is playing for the US National Development Team, which competes in the USHL. This season Dougherty has skated in 49 games, netting five goals, 12 assists and 17 points on the season. He’s also got a +/- of +26 on the season for the NTDP U-18 squad.
As for his future with the Badgers, Dougherty’s season has included an assist in a game against the University of Michigan.
