Wisconsin’s dual with Purdue will be broadcast to a national audience.
The Feb. 10 match was one of 16 contests featured when Big Ten Network released its wrestling broadcast schedule on Wednesday.
UW and Purdue last met in 2013 when Purdue scored a 22-14 win.
This year’s dual is slated for a 5 p.m. start in West Lafayette.
Jordan ranked second by FloWrestling
In recent days, FloWrestling.com has been unveiling its preseason rankings. When the 165 pound weight class was revealed earlier this week, Wisconsin’s Isaac Jordan found himself at No. 2.
Illinois’ Isaiah Martinez, a two-time NCAA champion at 157 pounds, is ranked No.1.
Non-conference schedule updated
When the Badgers released their original schedule back in June, there was an open slot on Nov. 18. UW was set to take on host Duke at 6 p.m. followed by a match with an opponent that was to be determined at 8 p.m. Reportedly unable to find a suitor, Wisconsin removed the open slot from its 2016-17 slate.
