Baltimore, a photo essay

I was in Baltimore the last several days, enjoying (sort of) the Twins season opener, and learning all there is to know about Baltimore. I am filtering these pictures so you will really only see a few of them, just Twins-Orioles related. Maybe a couple extras.

Look, this is where the game was played!

I am not good at taking in game pictures, and I took so many flattering pictures of Baltimore and the Inner Harbor (both beautiful and tremendously enjoyable, please don’t let me give you the wrong impression) but I know what you really want. Here are a couple goofy and alarming pictures from the seedier parts of Baltimore.

Last and finally not least, a look at the hotel room. (It was actually not as bad as this image might suggest. Sure, the mattress was lumpy, but whatever) Note the ceiling texture on the actual curtain!

Nice! If the Twins had been able to win just one game, I might have shared the more flattering pictures from the trip. But alas.
