Ask any Chicago White Sox fan who they’re rooting for this postseason and the answer is likely to be the same…“anyone but the Cubs”.
It would appear Barack Obama didn’t get the memo.
“With the Sox Out, I’ll be rooting for the Cubs to win the Series,” the longtime Sox fan told the Chicago Tribune. “They’re due. They’ve got great young players, and I’m a (Joe) Maddon fan. That’s an official statement.”
Now, we’re still a long ways away from the Cubs even reaching the World Series, much less winning it, but one thing is for sure…should they get to the Fall Classic and Obama is asked to throw out the first pitch, you just know POTUS is going to be rocking a White Sox cap.
