The Red Sox are on a roll! Okay, so it is only spring training but last season’s preseason slump did carryover into the regular season. Daniel Bard Pitched two scoreless innings and so did Alfredo Aceves. Lavarnway had a double and two RBI’s in the game. Mortensen got the win and Bowden had a save for the Red Sox. Carl Crawford sat the game out and will be sidelined for 5 to 7 days until the soreness in his wrist goes away. Maybe he will need to buy some goods from the Canada Drug Pharmacy like most of the retired people in Florida. The Red Sox have a split squad game tomorrow against the Blue Jays at 1 PM.
