This week on Cleveland Baseball and Brews, best friend Brad (@BradWojdyla) and I (@cle_itisgone) broke the number one rule of our show: don’t talk about football. And we did! But just a little bit.
Back on topic, we covered he current injuries that have plagued the Tribe and possibly hindered their chances at a solid playoff run. Do you think losing Carlos Carrasco or Yan Gomes will cut the Indians’ October short? Is there little cause for concern and or is typical meltdown that Cleveland fans always seem to have at the drop of a hat justified?
We get into what the bullpen is capable of, and if need be, can they take on the task of a bullpen game in the post season? And also, insert our opinions of the controversial article Paul Hoynes put together over the weekend.
Purposely, we recorded after the entire Detroit series came to an end in order to talk about the whole thing. What it means this close to the end to beat the team riding your butt. How amazing it was in the first two games at The Jake that fans actually cheered FOR THE GAME! I found it quite shocking actually. Also, that I FINALLY got to meet best friend Brad’s lady friend during the #RedOut!
