I owe you some blog posts this weekend and let’s give you what’s on tap this weekend as far as baseball is concerned.
First, Fox has two Interleague games today. Joe Buck is taking the weekend off which means he’ll have worked 7 out of 10 possible games this season.

Granted, Strasburg was facing the Pirates, the lowest-scoring team in the majors, but the quality of his pitches was so good, I’m not sure the opponent would have mattered. He touched 100 mph – with movement. He threw his breaking ball for strikes. His changeup was in the 90-mph range. And the last of his pitches was a fastball at 99. You couldn’t take your eyes off him. Let’s just hope he stays healthy and his starts remain must-see events for hopefully, the next 10 or 15 years.”

TBS as we know has Stephen Strasburg’s second major league start on Sunday. Interesting double assignment as Dick Stockton works both the Phillies-Red Sox for Fox and then Washington-Cleveland for TBS. I’m sure Stockton was going to call the originally scheduled game, Phillies-Red Sox for TBS.
