Former WWE star turned actor Dave Batista made his long awaited return to WWE back at the Smackdown 1,000 special in 2018, and turned heads in the pro wrestling world when he not only reunited with his former Evolution stablemates, but teased a possible match against Triple H.
During the Evolution reunion on Smackdown, The Animal praised Triple H for having beaten everyone in WWE…except for Batista. Past reports have indicated that Batista does in fact want to return to WWE for one final run in the company, and he has noted he would like the run to culminate in a match against Triple H at WrestleMania.
In what could be a sign that a return to the ring could be in store for the Guardians of the Galaxy star, Batista responded to a recent WWE video compiling highlights from The Animal’s biggest career accomplishments.
“You ain’t seen nothin yet” Batista Tweeted, teasing his best is yet to come inside a WWE ring. You can check out the WWE highlight video below.

Prior to Batista’s return to WWE at Smackdown 1,000, there had been speculation that Batista and WWE were not on the best of terms, as Batista made it publicly known just a couple weeks before the Smackdown special that he had not been invited to the big event which took place in his hometown of Washington, D.C.
[lawrence-related id=856356]Prior to the Smackdown special, Batista was publicly critical of how he was used in WWE during his last run, but did say he and Triple H were mapping out The Animal’s return to the ring, but those discussions ended up falling through as Batista claims Triple H did not return his calls or texts, leaving Batista scratching his head regarding his WWE return.
At last word, Batista vs Triple H was penciled in as a potential main event at WrestleMania 35 in New Jersey, however, with Triple H suffering an injury during his match at Crown Jewel, it remains unknown whether or not The Game will be cleared in time to compete at WrestleMania.
