BBN Tournament LiveBlog: March Madness Day 4

BBN Tournament LiveBlog: March Madness Day 4
Loud and Proud!!

One half of the Sweet 16 has been decided, with the other half set to go today starting at 12:15 pm! The Big Ten has an opportunity to set a conference record if both Purdue and Michigan State can advance into the 2nd weekend. Only four times has the Big Ten succeeded in getting 4 teams into the field of 16, and they have never advanced 5.

The LiveBlog will kickoff around Noon EST to get you squared away for the first game between NC State and Georgetown (12:15 PM). The Spartans follow up that game at 2:45 pm on CBS, followed by the rest of the day’s action, including #10 Purdue vs. Kansas, and some serious high-seed battles. We will be rooting hard for a 15 seed to make the Sweet 16, if only because it has never happened before.

Our second round action is brought to us by CVS Flags, who’ve provided an amazing Ohio State flag like the one on the right for our bracket challenge prize package. Even if you don’t win, it’d be great to buy two or three to hang up on the house of that neighbor who’s favorite B1G team was the only one to lose in either the NCAA or NIT first round.  You can consider it a “neighborhood improvement” project.

If you find time during the games, you should check out our friends in the Buckeye Bloggers Network! the Buckeye BlogOSU Silver BulletBuckeye House CallOur Honor Defend, and Men of the Scarlet and GrayFox Sports Ohio also joins us as usual.
