Be afraid of Purdue, and BW-3 still hasn’t fully responded

Take a good look at the Ohio State schedule.  Go ahead, I’ll wait.  You can find a copy on a link just above these very words.

It isn’t going to be easy, but it’ll be a great ride.

First, there is Purdue.  Don’t scoff at the Boilermakers.  They ALWAYS play the Buckeyes tough, and as long as they don’t have to kick a field goal, they can be dangerous.  Penn State was averaging 50 points per game, and the Boilers held them to 20.  That’s no ordinary opponent that can do that.  We’ll need to have another opening-drive TD to smack them in the mouth (only this time, score again soon after, unlike last week)

Follow that up with a trip to the dangerous East Lansing.  Sparty should be 6-, and hunnnnngry.  Beware!

Then comes Penn State.  Nuff said?  Thank Jeebus it’s at The Shoe.

Back-to-back road games at Northwestern and Illinois are after that.  NW is currently ranked, Illinois has a somewhat easy road before then and should be ranked by the time we get there.

Finish it off with Michigan.  No matter how bad they might look this year, the scUM game is NEVER won on paper.

Nope, it’s not an easy road.  But damn, it’s good to be in the thick of it all again.  Onward to our 4th-consecutive Big Ten title?  Not if Purdue can help it.  Don’t overlook these guys!

Also, the headline says it all.  I haven’t heard back from Bob Senkar with BW-3, but I’m trusting that he’ll do the right thing.  If you’re reading this, Bob…I have experience with restaurant management, and I DO know how to appreciate a Buckeye crowd.  I’ll take that job if you wanna see improvement.
