Colts players say it pays to be kind zebras

“Just be respectful. Those guys are people, too,” Brackett said. “Sometimes, tough calls happen. You want them to make the right call, but we understand what it is. Sometimes, a team is blatantly doing something and you kind of get agitated. But all in all, I think we have a good relationship.”

Several Colts say it never hurts the cause to compliment officials.

“Absolutely, when they make a call for us,” Brackett said. “If they make a bad call, you say, ‘You owe us one.’ “
