The spring recruiting season has been relatively quiet for Coach Tommy Tuberville and staff. According to the official Cincinnati Bearcats Recruiting Twitter page, the staff has literally been all over in search of talented high school prospects. While no high schooler has pulled the trigger and pledged to become a Bearcat, news broke today that talented WR Jordan Cunningham has decided to transfer from Vanderbilt to the University of Cincinnati.
Jordan broke the news to Twitter on April 30th that his intention was to become a Bearcat. Who is Jordan Cunningham you may ask? A look at his 247Sports page shows that he was a Composite 4-Star Wide Receiver who had an offer out of high school from Alabama, LSU, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and many others. You would think that he ultimately chose Vanderbilt due to his desire to go to a school with strong academics. Nonetheless, his offer list would rival any current or former Bearcat.

This addition is huge in the fact that Max Morrison, Shaq Washington, Alex Chisum and McKale McKay will all be graduating at the end of this upcoming season. By the time Cunningham is eligible due to the transfer rule, he will have a chance to become an instant playmaker and will give whoever is QB in 2 years (hopefully Gunner Kiel) a much, much needed offensive weapon. Hopefully the staff can keep the momentum rolling and add the first high-school commit to the Class of 2016.
