Bearcats BlogCast: Crosstown Shootout Hype

podlogo

Welcome to this edition of the Bearcats BlogCast. It’s the day before the Crosstown Shootout and the excitement can’t be contained. There is so much to talk about, not just with the game, but with UC in general. That’s where Chris Bains and I come in to shoot all of the shit about the Bearcats.

Chris and I start by discussing the Military Bowl matchup against Virginia Tech. We give our thoughts on landing them as the opponent, give a quick overview of the Tech season, then run through the rest of the AAC bowl games. They are definitely bowl games.

From there we get to the main event, the Crosstown Shootout. Previewing the game is tied in with looking back on the recent wins at UNLV and against Northern Kentucky. We look at the big keys of the game, Cincinnati’s surging offense against Xavier’s questionable defense, rebounding, forcing turnovers, who will be the mystery Shootout hero from each side, what will become of the loser, what will winning mean for the victor and we give our picks. Of course neither one of us picked Xavier because neither one of us would ever pick Xavier. We have souls.

You can find the podcast on iTunes, Stitcher, Google Play and anywhere else podcasts are found, as we have gone double dipping. If there are more places you want the podcast, I will provide them. As always, thank you for your support. It’s greatly appreciated.
