On this edition of the Bearcats BlogCast, Chris Bains of Cincy on the Prowl and I break down the Bearcats in the NCAA tournament. We start by covering the AAC tournament and what a disaster the actual tournament ended up being in Hartford.

From there, we move on to discuss the Bearcats first round game with the Purdue Boilermakers. We break down Purdue and talk about what the Bearcats need to do to knock off the Boilers tomorrow night. That expands into discussing how the Bearcats would match up with Hampton Kentucky in the next round and what it would mean for the program.

Chris and I discuss SMU’s region and if we think the Mustangs have a shot to make a run. We also debate the future of the AAC and if Temple was screwed by being relegated to the NIT.

The podcast ends with Chris and I debating if UC is a football school or a basketball school and the one loss of the year we wish we could take back. Our answers there are different.

The show this week runs about two hours. The podcast is available on iTunes and Stitcher. If you have any ideas for future guests, let me know and I’ll do my best to get them. Thanks for listening. We’ll be back next week to discuss the Bearcats and the NCAA tournament and hopefully talk less.
