Chris Bains of Cincy on the Prowl returns from his long absence to join me on this week’s Bearcats BlogCast. Chris and I waste zero time jumping right into the talk of if Cincinnati has a quarterback controversy on it’s hands. We break down the good, and some of the bad, of the huge Bearcats victory over the Miami Hurricanes.

From there, we talk about the week that was, and the week that will be, in the AAC. We talk a bit at length about how South Florida isn’t very good. It’s an interesting topic. We touch on this week’s league games and give our 100% correct predictions.

We close the podcast this week by talking some Cincinnati Bearcats basketball. Chris is happy that Mick Cronin didn’t call this his most talented offensive team ever, so we debate if the offense will be any better. We go in on Shaquille Thomas changing his jersey number from 3 to 24 and my stupid reasoning why.

Since basketball was brought up, Chris and I discussed the SMU scandal and postseason ban.

Things end with some Butch Jones talk because Chris can’t get enough of rubbing it in on Butch and I can’t get enough laughing at Tennessee.

This week’s podcast is a little over 90 minutes. You can find the podcast here, but also on iTunes (subscribe and review please!) and Stitcher and everywhere else that hosts podcasts.

Go Bearcats.
