Bearcats BlogCast: Episode 64: Who’s Next

Welcome to this edition of the Bearcats BlogCast. Apologies for the late post, life got busy and someone forgot. That someone was me. This is an advantage if you are subscribed to the podcast on fine outlets such as iTunes, Stitcher and anywhere else podcasts are found. Just like you can find great lines to all the games this bowl season on betphoenix.ag, you can find a direct link to the podcast there. This post is also valuable as well.

Matt Opper and I jump right into the news of the week, which is the resignation of Tommy Tuberville. We talk about that and also give our choices for the next Cincinnati coach. Since this was recorded earlier in the week, we talk about PJ Fleck a lot. This was obviously before the news of his not interviewing at Cincinnati and his apparently staying at Western Michigan.

You might be wondering if we make fun of the Kerry Coombs rumors. Ohhhhh do we. Come for the outdated talk, stay for the fun.

Matt and I also discussion the disaster that is the AAC bowl slate. Spoiler, it’s bad.

We close the podcast with a very indepth conversation about Cincinnati basketball. We highlight the Bearcats victories, but we also talk about what we think are bigger issues for the team.

Because it’s this podcast, we end on a negative note. Why would you expect anything less?
