Hello, friends. The podcast wave keeps rolling as myself and fellow Student Section contributor Joseph Nardone discuss the various coaching hirings and firings going on in the world of college basketball. We recorded this episode on Thursday afternoon, so it was not official that Shaka Smart accepted the Texas job. Don’t worry though, we discuss that situation.

The lone coaching move we did not discuss was the potential of Billy Donovan leaving Florida to coach in the NBA. That bit of information broke after we finished. What we did discuss was pretty much everything else. We started with Gregg Marshall staying at Wichita State, before transitioning into the Big East hires at St John’s and DePaul. There was no job too big or too small that we discussed. It was a lot of fun.

To end the show, we break down the Final Four. Of course we had to talk about the Final Four.

I hope that you enjoy this podcast. I’ll try to bring on more Student Section contributors throughout the offseason as news happens. You can find previous episodes of the Bearcats BlogCast on iTunes. A rating and review would be appreciated. Thank you and thanks to Joseph.

Enjoy the games this weekend.
