The answer is yes, the Cincinnati Bearcats had themselves a laugh tonight against Georgia Southern. The game was never close. The most dramatic moment was when Eddie Tyree scored a lay up with a foul with 7 seconds left that could have pushed UC to the 100 point mark. Nonetheless, it was the most points Cincinnati has scored under Mick’s reign.
The passing tonight was the star. The Bearcats had 26 assists on 35 shots. Great stuff. Cash led with 7 assists, and there were a bunch of players with 3 or 2. 6 players went into double digits. Rashad Bishop continues not to miss, and had 12, as did Yancy Gates, Dion Dixon, my best friend, and Ibrahima Thomas. Larry Davis added 11, and Sean Kilpatrick 10. The Bearcats shot 55%, and hit 23-30 free throws. They put it all together tonight in their most dominant effort of the season. 9-0.
