The Cincinnati Bearcats improved to 5-0 for the first time since 2004 with a 68-34 ass kicking over the Dayton Flyers. My best friend Dion Dixon scored 20 points, a career high. When he left the game, he was outscoring Dayton 20-19. Rashad Bishop added 10, most in the first half to get the Bearcats going. Nearly everyone scored, and everyone played great defense. Dayton shot just 20%. It took them 12 minutes to score a basket in the second half.
All in all, it was a glorious basketball game. I could write more, but the word awesome would be said too much, and you don’t need to read it that many times. The Bearcats wore sweet 1961-62 uniforms that I hope they auction off, because I would buy the one pictured up top in less than a second. The Bearcats put people on notice tonight. And it was awesome. 68-34. Sixty Eight to Thirty Four.
