Bearcats Land LEVITICUS PAYNE, Dennis Norfleet and Lestor Liston

Butch Jones had a big day with the 2012 recruiting class, landing 3 top notch players. With these 3 in the books, Scout ranks the UC class 21st in the country for 2012.

The first is the coolly named Lestor Liston, who I keep calling Leston Liston. Liston is a 3 star OLB from Grand Blanc, Michigan. He’s ranked 104 at his position by Scout. He’s 6’2, 215 lbs. Here is an extremely long video of his highlights.

A little on the long side at 12 minutes, but worth it. He looks like he can play.

Up next is the best name by far, Leviticus Payne. Or should I say LEVITICUS PAYNE. Payne is a 5’8, 175 lb corner back from Southfield, Michigan. Leviticus is a 3 star recruit, and according to scout, the 72nd best in the nation. He played some receiver in high school, but will probably only play defense at Cincinnati. I love the name so much. How can you not? In fact, it’s going to be an all caps name unless he does something horrible. Here are some highlights of LEVITICUS PAYNE from his 2010 season.

Last, and the highest rated, is running back Dennis Norfleet. Norfleet is a 4 star recruit according to scout, and their 26th best running back recruit. He’s ranked in the top 275 of the nation. He’s the first 4 star of the class by Scout. They had Bennie Coney as a 3 star. Rivals has Coney and Norfleet flipped. Dennis is 5’7, 170. He’s listed as an all purpose back. With the other running back recruits the Bearcats have landed, they are going to be loaded at this position. You have Poteat, Teague, and now Norfleet for next season as freshmen and sophomores. The future is bright. Norfleet has some break away speed, and can return a punt, as you can see in his video.
