Bearcats Senior Day this weekend seeing get-in price of just $9

Cincinnati seems to be on the right side of the bubble after picking up a key road win on Wednesday night.

The Bearcats (21-9, 12-5) went into then-conference-leading Tulsa and secured a nine-point victory, a game in which they were ahead virtually the entire time. Farad Cobb scored 22 points, including four 3-pointers and Octavius Ellis had 13 rebounds and four blocks.

Tulsa is now tied atop the AAC with SMU, who are both 14-3. Cincinnati trails by two games and only has one game left on their conference schedule.

The Bearcats have won four in a row, responding to a three game losing streak prior to that. After losing to Temple, Tulane and Xavier, the Bearcats defeated Houston, UCF, Tulane and Tulsa. Their last game is against Memphis on Sunday, March 8th at home. It’ll be Senior Night for the Bearcats, who will celebrate the careers of Ge’Lawn Guyn and Jermaine Sanders.

After their three game losing streak, Cincinnati heard its name on the wrong side of the “bubble” conversation, but is now projected to be a 10 seed with one game remaining. They seem to have firmly positioned themselves for postseason play, and still have opportunities to earn quality wins during the conference tournament.

According to TiqIQ.com, the average ticket price is $41 for their final regular season game at Fifth Third Arena in Cincinnati, with a walk-in price of $9. Don’t miss out on cheering on the Bearcats at home for the final time, and let Hipmunk.com get you to the game. The Bearcats hang their hat on their team defense, which is a good quality to have for any tournament team. As long as Cincinnati can keep it close, they will be in every game that they face in the NCAA Tournament.
