Happy June, everybody. To kick off the month, the Cincinnati Bearcats got some relatively good news for their basketball schedule. In this year’s Big East/SEC Challenge, the Bearcats will host 2012 NCAA tournament team Alabama. The Crimson Tide aren’t exactly the sexiest name out there. They play a very defensive style and a very slow down type of game. But, this is a team with 2 very good players named Trevor, Releford and Lacey, and a team that should be on the way back to the NCAA tournament. Considering one of the floated names for the Bearcats was South Carolina, we should all be relieved it’s a team that should help the Bearcats come resume time.
As for the rest of the event, there are really only 2 games of interest. Those are Marquette at Florida and DePaul at Auburn. Per College Basketball Talk, the rest of the matchups and dates. Times to be decided later. There were a lot of commas in this article. Good eye.
