This week, we had the insightful opportunity to sit down with Matt Verderame of Arrowhead Addict. Matt is Fansided’s NFL Director, Arrowhead Addict EIC and PFWA member and a BettingSports contributor. He love all things 90’s. Here’s a short Q&A with Matt.

1.) What is the feeling/expectations within the fan base since Jamaal Charles went down?

It was terrible to watch such a great player in so much pain. Charles has become a major fan favorite for his personality off the field and his play on it. The injury is just another issue for this 2015 team.

2.) What do you think Kansas City’s weakness has been in the first 5 weeks? Where do they need to improve?

Honestly, everywhere. The defense is talented but a total mess. The offensive line is horrific. Alex Smith goes through starts and stops. It’s been hideous.

3.) What has the Chief’s strengths been through the first 5 weeks?

Jeremy Maclin has been terrific, and so was Charles before he was injured. On defense, Marcus Peters looks like the real deal and Eric Berry continues his amazing comeback from cancer.
4.) What do you think of this year’s Vikings squad? Have you watched them at all? Predictions/Expectations for their season?
I’ve watched them in a few games. I think it’s a decent team, but not a playoff-bound one. Teddy Bridgewater has been unimpressive to my eyes, and the offensive line is not doing him any favors. Still, this is a team with the arrow pointing up.

5.) What do you predict the final score of the game to be? Expectations for this week?

Vikings 27, Chiefs 16. Kansas City is awful.
