The Bearcats are facing some bad news for the Oklahoma game. Tight end Ben Guidugli has been ruled out. Ben hurt his ankle in the first half of the NC State game on Saturday. It’s been said he has a high ankle sprain, so that probably means he’s going to miss a couple of weeks. The Bearcats face Miami two weeks after the OU game, so hopefully the senior from Fort Thomas will be back then. He hasn’t been a huge part of the offense so far, 4-21, but we know he can be.
In other relevant news for the OU game, Isaiah Pead is fully back from his injury, and will start Saturday. Pead played like a series against NC State. He’s not done much this season either. Look no further than Pead and Guidugli having no stats and you can see why the offense has struggled.
