Best remaining AAC players in NFL draft after Round 1

As expected, Houston cornerback William Jackson III and Memphis quarterback Paxton Lynch were both selected in the first round of the 2016 NFL Draft, becoming the first two members of the American Athletic Conference to come off the board.

Jackson was taken by the Cincinnati Bengals at No. 24 overall, and the Denver Broncos traded up to grab Lynch at No. 26.

Both carry the tag as potential elites at the next level, but that’s something we can come back to in about three or four years. There are still a handful of draft-hopeful prospects from the AAC still waiting to hear their name called; here are the best available still after the first 31 picks:
