I know it's cliche, but David Ortiz is owning the World Series.
Sure the Boston Red Sox slugger (and likely World Series MVP) is batting a crazy .733 (11-for-15) through five games against the St. Louis Cardinals, but you know how I know Ortiz is "the guy" this October?
He's become a Halloween costume.
Sure, this isn't the first time a popular baseball player has been transformed into baseball player (last year alone gave us Andrew McCutchen and Josh Hamilton), but given the Red Sox All-Star's love of Halloween…I've gotta think the guy is flattered.
Oh, in case you were wondering, Li'l Papi is batting .688 this World Series with two home runs.
