Plain and simple, cancer sucks. It is a terrible disease that everyone has some sort of connection to. As a community last year, the Blue Jackets were given the terrible news that Bill Davidge, former color commentator and current pre-game analyst was going through a battle with cancer. After multiple updates throughout the year, Davidge recently let the world know that he was cancer free.

Davidge is an important pillar in the community and has always been nothing but nice to anyone that has interacted with him. This is the kind of news that will give you hope, especially since so much craziness is happening out in the world.
