You want to talk about having a bad couple of weeks. From getting $400,000 in jewelry heisted to having someone make your lawn look like a destination of aliens. Donte Whitner and Leodis McKelvin have seen it all. But now the duo won’t be seeing much of the field for the time being.
Donte Whitner underwent thumb surgery after getting injured in the teams’ 27-7 loss to New Orleans on Sunday. Head Coach Dick Jauron says that Whitner is week-to-week with the thumb injury. CB Leodis McKelvin fractured his leg against the Saints. McKelvin will be out a little longer, according to Jauron.
T Demetrius Bell is day-to-day with an injured groin. S Bryan Scott went to the doctors Monday after suffering an ankle injury in the loss. The team will have an update on Scott Wednesday. (Joenyc/WGR)
