Bills sign offensive lineman

The Bills have placed TE Derek Schouman and T Brad Butler on injured reserve today. The two players suffered season-ending injuries in Sunday’s win over the Buccaneers.

With Butler lost for the season, the Bills have made a move to add depth to the offensive line bringing in Jamon Meredith. Meredith was on the Packers practice squad. He was Green Bay’s 5th round draft pick this April.

Meredith played both Tackle and Guard during his College career at South Carolina. He was a three-year starter at right and left tackle and then moved to the inside for his senior season with the Gamecocks.

Mind of Joe
Did you really think the Bills were going to sign Runyan? I mean that would mean giving the guy more than the veteran minimum for god sakes! But hey, the line has played pretty good thus far this season and are opening a lot of holes for Fred Jackson. But the Bills are playing with fire with a lack of veterans along the line. Not to mention the Bills haven’t played a furious pass rush yet. Talk to me then about how the line looks then.
