Update, 12:45 p.m.:
Andrew Gross adds that while its been a couple weeks without headaches for Staal, he still has bad days sprinkled in.
…in other words, still no where near ready to play.
Update, 12:31 p.m.:
Rangers anounce that Andre Deveaux has cleared waivers and is being assigned to the Whale.
…was actually really surprised with the talent level of Deveaux, but with the way Hagelin and Mitchell are playing there is no room for the tough guy.
…makes you wonder, who’s the Rangers enforcer now if things get out of hand? A banged up Prust? Avery?
Original Post:
The Rangers have announced that Marty Biron will get the start in Carolina tonight.
….no surprise here. These are the games that Biron was brought in to play.
Meanwhile, multiple reports from practice say Marc Staal is skating with Mike Rupp. Here’s a proof from Andrew Gross at Ranger Rants…
…so awesome that Rupp is skating!!! Guess it’s good to see Staal out there as well.
Also from practice, Carl Hagelin and John Mitchell say despite the end of Movember they’re keeping their mustaches because of how well they’re playing, meanwhile Sean Avery took a shot off the skate Tuesday night but is alright to play tonight.
…they better not shave those mustaches. Can you say superstitious?
