The New York Rangers (37-14-5) lost to the Chicago Blackhawks (30-21-7) by the score of 4-2, tonight. For a boxscore and recap go to Yahoo! Sports.
…the saddest part of tonight’s game was despite a horrific start the Rangers could have easily won. Not going to get too crazy over it, they can’t win every game and Chicago was due.
…tonight’s game further proves Lundqvist’s case for the Hart Trophy. Without his heroics the Rangers are a middle of the road team.
…got to give credit to Biron for grinding through a tough start. Was fully expecting him to ditch the brown pads during the first intermission.
…the God damn power play is going to be the death of this Rangers team. And speaking of the power play, why was the Blackhawks allowed to choose what kind of penalty they received? Complete bull*hit.
…hope this loss doesn’t trigger a panic move by Sather.
…starting to see glimpses of the old Marc Staal.
…what the hell happened to Girardi and McDonagh in the first period? Easily their worst performance of the season.
…loving Boyle’s game right now.
…somehow Eminger comes out of this one with a +2.
…Wolski on Sunday?
…off until Sunday when Rick Nash and Columbus is in town.
