The downtown St. Louis, Missouri area will be busy over the next few months, with a successful hockey team gearing up for the postseason, big-ticket musical guests performing and other entertainment options that won’t leave visitors disappointed.
The Blues have several high-priced tickets over the final two months of the season with a few high-profile teams and players making a visit. Currently, the highest average price on the secondary market for a Blues game is $153 for the April 9th meeting with the Chicago Blackhawks. It’s $49 for the cheapest ticket available to the game.
Other high-profile meetings include a date with Sidney Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins this weekend (average price of $127 with a get-in of $54) as well as two big matchups with Eastern Conference rivals Philadelphia and Boston. The Flyers game has an average price of $112 for their March 12th meeting, while the Bruins come to town Friday night with a current average price of $105.
The Blues won’t be the only team performing at the Scottrade Center over the next few months, however. The Scottrade Center hosts approximately 175 events per year, drawing nearly two million guests annually. Selling over 100 million records worldwide, one of the best-selling bands of all-time takes their act to the Scottrade Center on March 27th. This stop on their 33-stop North American Tour has an average ticket price of $293.72 with a walk-in price of $64. Formed in 1967, Fleetwood Mac’s worldwide following still has the “must-see” label for being great for over four decades. In 2014, Christine McVie rejoined the band, which created even more excitement for their upcoming tour.
Luxury boxes at the Scottrade Center typically range from $3,500 to $6,000, depending upon how many people the suite can fit and the selection of amenities the buyer chooses. Nonetheless, this is certainly one of the more interesting events for premium seating this year.

The sporting event with the highest average ticket price for February through April is the NCAA Division I Wrestling Championships on March 19th. The average ticket price is $106.65 higher than any St. Louis Blues home games during that span. The Penn State Nittany Lions have won four straight NCAA Championships and are looking to win their fifth. There are over 1,000 tickets remaining to the event.

“Arch Madness” tips off annually at the Scottrade Center and will take place from March 5-8 with the championship game taking place on Sunday afternoon. This will be the 10th consecutive tournament held at the Scottrade Center. Wichita State is looking to repeat as champions, but will be challenged by Northern Iowa who has defeated them this season. The average ticket price is highest on the first day of the tournament when the most games are played, with a price of $236.23 and a walk-in price of $23.
