In what was one of the most entertaining dunk contests in recent memory (go away Nate Robinson), Blake Griffin took home the title after he jumped over a car to throw down an alley-oop from teammate Baron Davis.
Amazingly, this was one of the least impressive dunks of the night. I won’t knock Griffin, as he deserved to win (that elbow dunk was sick), but my favorite dunk of the night was DeMar DeRozan’s “Showstopper.”
JaVale McGee put up a good fight, but I think DeRozan should have been in the final round against Griffin, who was going to win no matter what happened because of the NBA’s asinine fan voting system.
