With the NBA draft on the horizon (Thursday night), mock drafts are popping up at an alarming rate. Consumed by the Celtics playoff run, I haven't paid much attention to any of them. With the 19th pick, Danny Ainge has a chance at a decent player.

left in the draft. And Rondo doesn't need to keep playing 48 minutes a
night.
The Peanut Gallery: Russillo immediately states, "They could use a
backup PG. I love the pick." Adds Fraschilla, "Same huge hands as Rajon
Rondo and same type of athlete. Needs to learn the position like
Rondo."
He needed all four years at Washington to improve his shooting and develop as an aggressive defender. Pondexter is a good athlete who attacks the offensive board, and his college experience will enable him to fit in nicely with the Celtics as they begin their transition from old to young.
