Conference Winners:
ACC:
Preseason: Virginia Tech
Midseason: Florida State
Virginia Tech let me down but seems the ‘Noles have their act together.
Big East:
Preseason: Pitt Panthers
Midseason: West Virginia Mountaineers
The honest answer is the Big East is ripe for anyone to take it just seems no one want to step up and get it done. I am going with WVU this time around as they seem to be heading in the right direction.
BigTen:
Preseason: The Ohio State Buckeyes
Midseason: Michigan State Spartans
I had no clue the Spartans were this good but seems all they have to do is win (as they should) and the Big Ten is theirs.
Pac 10:
Preseason: Winner of Civil War
Midseason: Oregon Ducks
Best in the PAC 10 for whatever that matters is the Ducks. As long as no one shuts down their run game then they will win it.
SEC:
Preseason: Alabama Crimson Tide
Midseason: Auburn Tigers
Auburn’s to lose. They are too good on offense and get it done on defense. They should see South Carolina in the title game.
Mountain West:
Preseason: TCU Horned Frogs
Midseason: TCU Horned Frogs
TCU…is there anyone else that comes close….
MAC:
Preseason: Northern Illinois Huskies
Midseason: Toledo
I’ll be honest here, I have no clue about the MAC. Toledo seems to be playing the best lately.
Big 12:
Preseason: Sooners
Midseason: Oklahoma Sooners
Oklahoma over Cornhuskers in the championship game.
Conference USA:
Preseason: Houston Cougars
Midseason: East Carolina Pirates
When Case Keenum went down with a season-ending injury it basically eliminated Houston from the race. East Carolina seems to be leading the charge now.
Sun Belt:
Preseason: Middle Tennessee State
Midseason: Troy Trojans
Troy over FIU. Does it matter?
WAC:
Preseason: Boise State Broncos
Midseason: Boise State Broncos
The team with blue grass.
Heisman Trophy winner:
Preseason: Terelle Pryor, QB, OSU
Midseason: Cam Newton, QB Auburn Tigers
Darkhorse: Denard Robinson, QB Michigan Wolverines
Right now, it’s Cam Newton’s to lose.
BCS Champs:
Preseason: The Ohio State Buckeyes
Midseason: Auburn Tigers vs. Boise State
Would be really nice to see the Tigers versus the Broncos, could make for some good TV.
